First time their I was looking forward to the Guinness pie it was terrible I could have got better from the pie shop my husband had roast pork which was 2 days old very very disappointed

I attended here last night with my photobooths as my business Hadwin Events for a wedding. Great space beautifully decorated, friendly helpful staff. On site parking and accomodation available for guests. Lovely venue and I hope to be back soon

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our twilight wedding at West Tower on 5th May, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From the very beginning, Maria, our Wedding Co-ordinator, ensured everything was perfectly organised, and on the day, Event Manager Kim and the entire team looked after us with the utmost care and dedication. Every little detail was catered to flawlessly – it’s those thoughtful touches that make West Tower truly outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warmth and professionalism made our day feel effortless and extremely special. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful venue and grounds (so many mentioned the beautiful sunset!), and we received countless compliments on the food and the accommodation. For anyone considering this venue, we couldn’t recommend it more highly – a genuine 5-star experience! Thank you all at West Tower for making our special day truly unforgettable. Great wedding venue very high standard of food ,our room had a bit of a tired bathroom and the toilet leaked so all in all quiet disappointing considering the very very high price for the rooms ,would not go again.

We stayed here for a wedding recently. The staff are all superb, very attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent and they were very good with gluten free options. The bar was a bit dear, as expected but not extortionate. The rooms however were a bit disappointing. We stayed in the coach house 8&9. They look great at first glance but the beds were absolutely terrible. The mattress in our room was very hard and thin, it felt like it should have been replaced 20 years ago. Our other room was similar but there was also a cot bed, which was even worse. It felt like a think duvet over the cot base, really nowhere near good enough and considering the price paid, was pretty appalling. The bathrooms also could do with a deep clean and a refresh. The toilet filler in our bathroom was constantly filling during the night, which was a little annoying. The toilet rim was also looking grubby. The main issue was the shower enclosure, the silicon sealant was looking pretty manky and long past its best, it really needs replacing with a good quality silicon. In short, lovely place, brilliant staff, poor rooms

We had our Wedding at West Tower in July 2024. This was the first and only venue we viewed. As soon as we went to view it, we both knew this was exactly what we were looking for. From our first meeting, the staff were fantastic. The Menu tasting was absolutely first Class. They planned everything from start to finish which reassured us that all we had to do was enjoy the day and what a day it was. All the staff on duty that day were really impressive and our wedding event manager on the day ensured everything went smoothly and had thought of everything from spare Pins for the button hole flowers to additional batteries for the Microphone as the Best Mans speech was a bit longer than he had planned . We cannot thank everyone at West Tower enough for making our day so special and for the efforts they made making sure both myself and Wife as well as all our guests had the best time ever. I would particularly like to single out Maria the Wedding Co-Ordinator and Kim the Wedding Event Manager on the day. You both made us feel very special and catered for all our needs. We had the best day ever and all our guests have said that had a fabulous time. Thank you. Mr & Mr Small

We recently had our wedding at west tower and we could not have asked for anything more!! In the run up to the wedding Maria was super helpful and on hand to answer all of our questions. On the day both James & Charlotte looked after us and they did an amazing job, nothing was too much hassle for them and they ensured our day ran smoothly! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the grounds are beautiful, all the staff on the day were amazing! The perfect venue!

We recently attended an amazing wedding here, the food and service particularly were amazing. I wanted to call out waitress Ellie for an impeccable job, she was so professional and helpful, and was able to ensure a dairy allergy in our family was catered for.

We had our wedding here in May 2024- and wow! What a beautiful venue! We received nothing but compliments from our guests, not only about the venue itself but the staff too (specially Sarah and Kim) who made a fantastic impression. The whole way through our journey, West Tower was amazing and we can’t thank everyone involved enough for helping us achieve our dream wedding day!

Fantastic, Luxurious venue for a wedding. I attended a wedding here recently and everything is so beautiful here. The staff are so professional and caring and make you feel very welcomed. It was spotless and well maintained as far as i could tell. It would certainly be my choice of place for such a special occasion.

My son and daughter in law had their wedding reception on 31.7.24. The staff were brilliant and the breakfast in a morning was great. I ought to consider taking them to court for making me put a stone in weight on. lol. Really pleased would recommend the venue to all.

West Tower is set in the heart of the countryside and with stunning views. Initial impressions on arrival were good, grounds and car parking thoughtfully planned, especially good for those with mobility issues. We were invited to a family wedding and it could not have gone smoother. Planning, execution and service were impeccable. Food throughout was plentiful and of the best quality. From the canapés after the service, to the wedding breakfast, to the evening platters, just superb. Service from the staff was amazing, so attentive, polite and quick to respond to requests. We stayed in the Coach House, room was spacious, clean with great attention to detail. Breakfast the following morning was great, an hour slot gets everyone together before farewells. Food plentiful, hot and great quality. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking about getting married, you and your guests will have the most memorable experience. 😍

We got married at west tower 28.04.2024. Our wedding coordinator Maria was brilliant helping us plan every last detail and made sure nothing was forgotten. Kim who ran the wedding day was absolutely amazing and made sure that everything ran so smoothly. I stayed over the night before with the bridesmaids and this was the best decision, the staff came over to check in and reassure me the evening before and the morning of the wedding. I had no stress at all as the west tower team took such good care of everything. The whole venue and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. The food was also amazing. We have had so many guests that have commented on how amazing the day was and especially how amazing the staff were. We cannot thank west tower enough for looking after everything and everyone. This was the best day of our lives and we owe that to the west tower team. Would recommend this wedding venue to everybody. Thank you so much west tower, nothing was too much to ask and we will be forever grateful. The new Mr and Mrs Holgate.

Went to a family wedding reception in the night time on Thursday 2nd May 2024, my sister took us in the car and got their for about 8pm. We then sat with family on a table near the back of the room, and had some food which the staff came around with and drinks from the bar.

We attended my sons wedding on the 27.05.24 just wow . From the 1st minute to the last minute. Staff were amazingly on the ball and nothing to much trouble. The wedding entrance was like you only see on TV .but the west tower went way and above. Perfect Wedding venue and I would a 1000% recommend this venue. Thanking you from the bottom of my heart. this is a lovely location set in the countryside the views are amazing, the food was good and the service was better, the drink prices was very unusual for example, me and my wife was with another cupple we had 6 rounds of drinks pint of lager Guinness zero glass of peseco large pink gin and lemonade total price £22-20 the next round we had no lager and the price was £28-45 all 6 rounds of drinks was a different price the barstaff clearly making it up as thay go along don't be getting ripped of like we did

On this occasion just collected a guest but last summer I attended a wedding at West tower it was superb the staff very professional a lovely wedding venue . The setting is lovely ,in countryside . Great bar and reception area, drinks a little pricey but not too bad food was really good. We didn't stop over so can't comment on accommodation but those I spoke to said it was first class. So if you are taking the plunge go for it One of the best weddings we have been to.
